Dear Interior Design Colleagues and Supporters,
As you may be aware, Florida House Bill HB7047, Deregulation of Professions and Occupations, had been filed to include the deregulation of licensed interior designers in Florida and threatened our profession. Although interior designers were recently removed from the House bill, we must continue to be vigilant and patient through this process, until the 2017 legislative session concludes.
IDAF was there working on your behalf in 1988, 1994, 2011, now in 2017, and will continue to do so in the future.
The Interior Design Associations Foundation continues to reach out to Registered Interior Designers, firms and associates who have supported our important mission in the past and understand the important role of the Florida coalition, IDAF and its lobbyist.
IDAF continues to work with ASID & IIDA,
But IDAF is solely funded by the
Florida Interior Design Community
For those who have not had the opportunity to meet IDAF’s lobbyist of 23+ years, Ron Book and Kelly Mallette, you should know that their understanding and compassion for our profession is limitless. Their continuing drive on our behalf is relentless. The IDAF leadership, along with our lobbyist are committed to protect the rights of ALL registered interior designers and our industry.
At this time, IDAF is urging all Registered Interior Designers, Interior Designers, Industry, Trades, Students, Clients, Friends and Family to make a contribution to IDAF, so we can continue our lobbying efforts, represent the industry at BOAID and implement future programs.
WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION WORTH TO YOU?
We ask that you please contribute a minimum
of $85.00 to IDAF, so these efforts can continue.
